Our Second Graders turned a lesson on reading a procedural text into a yummy snack! These students followed the steps to create salsa this week. Learning about following recipes/instructions helps with writing and story telling in the future. Hands-on Learning can be Fun and Delicious!

Wesley Prep Second Graders are learning about how to find the Mean, Median, Mode, and Range of a data set. Students collected data on their "wing spans" and will organize the info on a plot graph. This will lead them to find the mean and median wing span of each class. These Panthers are obviously way above average!

Wesley Prep Toddlers had fun "painting" with ice today! This sensory activity was a cool way to practice fine motor skills and experience what happens to an ice cube as it melts. Some little penguins helped by skating across the ice to create the beautiful artwork.
