PARENT INVOLVEMENT

The opportunities for parent involvement are endless! Whether you are interested in being a room parent, chairing large events, organizing teacher appreciation luncheons, merchandising our school spirit or helping at the Book Fair, we have plenty of ways to utilize your talents!

PARENT INVOLVEMENT-DAD'S CLUB CLEANUP

Parent Teacher Fellowship

PTF, or Parent Teacher Fellowship, helps provide assistance for teachers and school administration. PTF meetings are scheduled for the benefit of getting to know other school families, aiding our school and hearing guest speakers. All Wesley Prep families are members of the PTF and are invited to participate in all of the events.

Parents as Partners

We love to know what our parents have passion for and what companies they are involved with because we tap those resources as part of our integrated and hands-on programming. Please contact Head of School, Meg Fahrenbrook and she will put you in touch with individuals who are in need of volunteers or other resources.

Dad’s Club

At Wesley Prep, we have an active Dad’s Club. All Wesley Prep dads are members, and events are designed to encourage our dads to get involved early and grow with their kids. There are also several dads-only events so that Wesley Prep dads may enjoy fellowship and get to know one another. Here are some of the events organized by our Dad’s Club:

  • Annual clean-up of the school playgrounds

  • Coordination of Panther Pride Day (our equivalent to Field Day)

  • Outreach Events with Austin Street Center

  • Set and stage building for musicals, art show and much more

  • Dads-Only Social Gatherings

  • Top Golf Outing

  • Fishing Derby

  • Donuts with Dad

  • Father/Daughter Dance

  • Dads Bible Study Group

Dues are included in your child’s tuition and go back into projects to support our kids.
