WP Fourth Graders took on the "Egg Drop Challenge" today! Students designed a landing craft to protect a raw egg when it's dropped from up high. The challenge involved lots of prep work, testing, and sometimes re-design!

Our Primer Panthers went to the Dallas Children's Aquarium in Fair Park last week! It was an exciting day filled with hands-on, interactive learning as the students learned about freshwater life, ocean animals, and more! Our Primer students loved the stingrays and the "doctor" fish.

Our Fifth Graders recently finished two fun projects in Technology Class: creating their own digital silhouettes and mastering the art of mosaics! Both projects involved learning new design tools! This artwork was very cool and creative!

WP parent/geologist, Martin Anderson talked to our Kindergarten Classes about the Rock Cycle last week. They conducted experiments to show how sediment is deposited into the ocean from rivers, used Play-Doh to show how metamorphic rocks are formed, and created a volcano to show how lava flows. They made quite an eruption!

The Toy Story Movie Party was super fun! WP staff members love an opportunity to dress up - Buzz, Bo Peep, Woody, Jessie, and an alien helped with the party. The students participated in a Mister Potato Head contest, did a fun relay race, ate pizza/popcorn/ice cream, and watched the movie!
