WP First Graders recently finished a unit on geography - with the final lesson covering facts about the Great State of Texas! They celebrated by dressing up - students learned what makes our home state so unique - including our state bird, flower, song, and more!

Wesley Prep Primer Students went Beyond the Classroom to the Children's Aquarium at Fair Park where they got to touch sting rays, see a school of fish and a star fish, watch sharks, learn about the Texas Guadalupe fish, and "Doctor" fish nibbled on their fingers! They explored the grounds around Fair Park and saw snapping turtles. It was the perfect way to complete their unit about underwater wildlife and the Texas rivers that flow into the Gulf of Mexico.

The WP Track and Field Team did an outstanding job yesterday - we competed at a very high level against 9 area schools. Our 5th grade girls, 6th grade girls, 4th grade boys, 5th grade boys, and 6th grade boys were awarded third place overall! WOW! And congrats to our 4th grade girls for taking home first place by winning 7 out of 8 of the events!
