WP Second Graders recently completed a unit on the human body (including the skeletal system). They celebrated the end of the unit by welcoming a visiting scientist. Students performed a few activities focused on bones - they made their own collagen, molded clay bones, and constructed a spine out of beads and pipe cleaners.
