WP Toddlers created a cloud in a jar to celebrate "April Showers" and the importance of rain. It was so fun for the students to watch the blue rain coming out of the fluffy clouds. This type of lesson encourages curiosity and amazement of the world around us!

WP Fourth Graders learned about water sources in Dallas from a visiting educator from the Environmental Education Initiative this week - they studied water conservation through studying aquifers, which are underground lakes. And they made their own small aquifer to take home!

WP Second Grade's Life Cycle Lesson is still going strong with a total of 7 baby chicks! It's fun to hear the chirps throughout the hallways. Students are also entrusted with babysitting the chicks at night - it's an "around the clock" job! Hands-on Learning creates confident, curious, and caring children!
